TCU spoiled Boise State’s perfect season, intercepting freshman QB Kellen Moore with under two minutes left to hold on for a one-point win. Stephen Hodge’s game-sealing pick earned him Defensive MVP.

Boise State led 13-0 in the second quarter — Ian Johnson’s touchdown run in that stretch broke Marshall Faulk’s WAC career rushing-TD record — but TCU clawed back behind 278 rushing yards and QB Andy Dalton (276 all-purpose yards, Offensive MVP). TCU took its first lead early in the fourth quarter, then survived a late Boise State field goal that cut it to 17-16 before Hodge’s interception sealed it.
